Uva

I did my birthday bash at Uva's on Saturday May 10, 2008. I made reservations 3 months in advance and the went the week before because I have never been there. I was promised the red room, which is a large two large rooms and was told my party of 35 would fit perfect. They (the resturant) was going to decorate it with candles everywhere (just as it shows on their web-site)... I got there at 8pm and my sister had taken some masks that I wanted to decorate with for the tables... there were no candles as promised and there was another party next to mine which was fine. There was a small table with two tables were I wanted to put my birthday cake and to my suprise there was another party sitting there around 10pm... I was taking pictures there all night with my guests. To make matters worse, I got into an argument with that other party over that space that was in the same room as my party. It was not my fault nor the other party...It was the resturant's fault for booking two party's in one room... I was told the week before that there were no other parties booked. My party had two waitresses, which around 9pm we only had one. I felt bad for Nikki (our waitress) she was trying to her hardest to please everyone...Kudos to her. Over all the service sucked... My birthday experience was tarnished... I would never go there again, not even for a dinner.
