Learning In Motion Preschool

I absolutely LOVE this school. All 3 of my children have attended this school. The teachers are all amazing. I can honestly tell you that these teachers put their heart and soul into their students. My son who is now in Kindergarten this year, is on top of his class. He is reading above level and doing very well in Math. His VPK class made sure he was ready for Kindergarten, not only with academics but with life skills like making friends, treating people with respect, and manners. These teachers have so much pride in their job. It is such a good feeling knowing you aren't just dropping your child off to be watched but to also learn so much. I really can't express enough how amazing ALL of the teachers are. The Director of this Preschool is so involved with each child as well. Her passion for the school and each child melts my heart daily. She truly cares about every child in the school and only wants the best for them. Other preschools your child is just a number. Not this one. This preschool is like a very large family. Everyone knows everyone, which is such a comforting feeling. I have met so many friends at this school and have family get togethers regularly. This school is such a big part of our lives and it was one of the best decisions ever to send our kids here.

This is by far the best school I have placed my children in. The staff are very warm and caring. My children love this school so much it's hard to get them to come home at the end of the day!! The director is a sweetheart and very helpful when needed. Very clean and organized classrooms. Just perfect!

I put my 3 month old in this daycare almost a year ago. I also had my 3 year old in their on campus summer camp and my 4 year old in their traveling summer camp. I absolutely love this preschool. My baby is treated like she is their baby. The staff is warm and friendly. The place is clean and designed just for kids - the usual stuff like tiny toilet seats and steps to reach water fountain but also other details like making the windows lower to the ground in the baby room so they can look out the windows too. In the previous two daycares that I had my son, he would cry from leaving our house till after I dropt him off and when I picked him up he was usually also crying; but at Learning in Motion he was excited to go. He still had some off days, but the staff was always comforting to him and I could just sit with him and play till he was ready to be more social (he was very shy in the begining). My daughter loved the traveling summer camp and is already asking to return this coming summer. Learning in Motion is clean without smelling antisceptic and without feeling sterile. The staff is organized and stable (not constantly changing). There is a large back and side yard for the kids to play in and they have a lot of outdoor toys (like tricycles) that are in good condition. My children have severe food allergies and the staff has always been very careful about that - none of my children have had an incident there. The curriculum focuses on all the senses and they have an emphasis on physical activity which I think is great for preschool children (plus the usual, colors, shapes, numbers, etc and VPK). The location is on a quiet street. I wish I had known about this place before because it is far better than any other preschool I have ever visited.
