Mandarin Garden

I called the MG during lunch to request a tofu dish that I noted on the online lunch menu. I spoke to a very unpleasant gentleman, seemingly unfamiliar with the lunch menu, who told me that tofu was not available at lunch. He asked me to hold on after I insisted that LO HAN CHAI (TO FU WITH VEGETABLE) was listed as a lunch item. He was very rude and unpleasant, as if I was bothering him. The last straw was when I asked for hot and sour soup, and he told me that soup is not available for lunch. Below is an excerpt from the online menu, where it plainly shows that soup IS an option for lunch.



"LUNCHEON: Entrees, served with Fried Rice, Egg Roll and Choice of Hot & Sour Soup or Egg Drop Soup.(Add $1.00 for Soup Take Out)"



With this last exchange, I just told him to cancel my order. I plan to take my business somewhere where I and my money is appreciated. The food is not that great and customer service was awful today. I am through with this restaurant.

This is my favorite place to eat Chinese. They have a buffet from about 11-2 every day and it is a small buffet but the food is the best. There are new owners there and they are ALWAYS there. Kelly is one of the owners and she has a heart of gold. Her husband does a lot of the cooking and he's always running back and forth bringing fresh food out. They have the BEST eggrolls and crab angles and wonton soup! Also the Mongolian beef is the best!!! If you order off the menu the eggrolls are the best ever! They are very caring people and work very hard to please the customers. Kelly has become a good friend and she sacrifices a lot of family time and time for herself to make this business a success. Please invite your friends and family to try their restaurant and let Kelly know in person what you think! She loves to hear what people think and if she needs to make any changes. There is always coupons in the mail from them also.

This restaurant is consistant, always fresh and fantastic food. This is the only chinese restaurant we frequent. Their hot and sour soup is the best we have ever had. We also love their orange slices they serve after the meal. The staff is always friendly and give great service. I highly recommend dining there.

We've been going to Mandarin Garden for years. It is by far the best best Chinese food in the Conyers/Covington area. You never have to wait and the food is wonderful! It's also great for take-out. The owner's are great too.
