Awesome teachers, awesome trai...

Awesome coaches, awesome training partners that welcome newbies with open arms. Ez parking ez freeway access. Hart's offers a great combo of boxing, bjj, MMA, open mat, women's only bjj and women's fitness classes. Most gyms charge you a set fee to go to 2-3 classes per week and more if you go over 3x per week. That can get annoying and confusing. Hart's charges a no frills monthly fee. From time to time they bring in guests instructors and charge a couple extra bucks or so to pay them.

The instructors at Hart BJJ provide a friendly and easy going environment which makes for the optimal way to learn. Tim truly cares for each student and their progress and for them to reach their goals. Great instructions and great workouts makes it a premier school in the area.

Overall

Great environment of teammates and training partners that pay attention and encourage. Coaches and students of various levels of experience, inexperience in skill set as well as technique(s).

In my personal opinion based on a year plus experience at Hart's the only limitation I have found is within myself and I feel the desire to return and push myself though I am limited in some ways due to previous injuries from a car accident.

Exertion and effort is encouraged though not to the point of risking injury. This to me shows that the cadre care about the person as well as the technique. Quality over quantity, form over function. Here is to "stand'n base" and "Shrimp'n"! ;-)

I encourage those that are curious experienced or not to come in for a week/two week trial and give something new/different and potentially challenging in many ways.
