if you are African american. Please last place you want to go is Aveda. They will lie to you that they do black people hair and they do a terrible job at it. They will charge you 18 dollars for an in-experience student to mess your hair up

If you are considering attending Aveda, DON'T. They are ridiculously expensive and will get any money out of you that is possible. I left Aveda 01/09 and in 10/11, they started asking me for money. There excuse was, "We had bad book keeping at the time so this is your responsibility." It has been an ongoing battles until now. The BBB had to get involved, previous students had to get involved... a COMPLETE mess. The services are not bad. Just remember the person cutting your hair might not have cut anyone else's hair before. We practiced on manicans. Not real people. Crystal is the director there now and she is very unhelpful and kind of stuck up. You are the Director at Aveda. Woo Hoo.... Anyone , and I mean anyone, could get that job. That is all for this review. Do not go to Aveda. Paul Mitchell is way better and my friends that went there make more money now.
