General Info

Established in 1948, the Whitehall Police Department is a law enforcement agency that protects residents lives, property and individual rights and maintains peace and order. It serves various writs, processes, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. The Whitehall Police Department provides online crime statistics and maps, as well as crime reporting applications. The department also handles issues related to drug abuse, animal control, fingerprinting, sexual offenses, shoplifting, identity theft, and traffic and parking law enforcement. The Whitehall Police Department maintains a patrol division that responds to calls for service, conducts initial and follow-up investigations, investigates traffic accidents, and controls traffic and crowds at crime scenes.
