Huntington Mortgage Group

I have dealt with Huntington outfits before and never had the kind of trouble Iike this go around. We contracted a builder ( Schumacher Homes of Indiana, INC.) to build our new home. We have since run into trouble and are currently in a legal dispute with them. When we contracted the work we went through Triad Mortgage, which is Schumachers mortgage lender that does most of their customers construction loans. Triad uses/sales a lot of their work to other organizations like Huntington Mortgage Group ( which is our lender). Instead of protecting our interest during this trying time they have decided to take a stance in line with the builder even though we are paying the money for their service not the builder. It has been just as painful dealing with Huntington Mortgage Group as it has been with Schumacher Homes. I would definetly recommend researching this group in great detail before using there services. Hopefully, if you decide to use Huntington, they have people with a little more compassion and understanding than we have dealt with. I firmly believe this is a case of "don't bite the hand that feeds you". I don't think Huntington wants to go against a company that provides them with a lot of buisness, which in turn might end up causing my wife and I thousands of dollars in damages to our home. Once again, research this company before going with them and good luck!!
