Primary Care
When we realized that many of those with mental illness have chronic comorbid medical conditions and even when referred did not seek or obtain these services, we decided to provide integrative primary care to them in order to provide more comprehensive treatment.
Emergency Care
We accept referrals from Hospital emergency room caseworkers, crisis centers, or behavioral healthcare professionals (counselors, health centers, urgent cares) for acute hospitalization when patients are a danger to self or others. We also accept walk-ins.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a condition characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. ADHD is most commonly diagnosed in young people, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). An estimated 9% of children between ages 3–17 have ADHD. While ADHD is usually diagnosed in childhood, it does not only affect children and can be present in adults as well.

Psychiatry
This innovative program was developed by Dr. Julie Gentile, MD in 2012 and has been operated by the agency in collaboration with the Wright State University’s Department of Psychiatry since 2014. The program currently serves over 1,600 children and adults in 83 of Ohio’s 88 counties. All care is provided in an interdisciplinary team format and led by WSU psychiatrists who specialize in the treatment of co-occurring intellectual disability.

Over the last 15 years, Access Ohio has created a behavioral health network that provides high quality, comprehensive care and a full spectrum of services to those in and around Central Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.
