        Standard Concrete Company designs and manufactures a wide variety of prestress and precast concrete products for government and commercial use. In addition to its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, the company has concrete plants in Tampa, Fla., Savannah, Ga., and Atlanta. The company produces insulated precast walls, square and cylinder piling, concrete slabs and girders, box beams, sheet piles, and structural marine and highway elements. It has supplied materials for such major projects as Naval Pier in Norfolk, Va., the fifth runway at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Sanibel Island bridge. With its design/build capabilities, Standard Concrete Company has an in-house engineering staff that designs the majority of its projects.
