While at UAB, Dr. Bolton was a member of both Alpha Epsilon Delta and Psi Chi Honor societies. She went on to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where she earned her doctorate degree. She also completed a Residency in Family Practice Optometry at UABSO, focusing on ocular disease management and pediatric vision development/Vision Therapy.
