If you want professional results where you can't tell body work on your car has been done, I would definitely recommend Caliber Collision. I have tried other places in town and they can't either match the paint or you can tell the car had paint work done but not Caliber.

Overall

These people will not finish my car, and told me the car was fixed "good enough"... which for a new 2013 $40k car is unacceptable.

......

They were very rude and argued when the Insurance company reviewed the car repairs and asked them to repair the vehicle to original condition - and they have refused. Bryan Derrick, the manager made numerous promises and said whatever he needed to say to appease me through the repair and then towards the end, he recanted his promises (i have the emails).....Jim Young told me that they would exceed my expectations AFTER i returned it the first time and THEY CAUSED MORE ISSUES THAN THEY REPAIRED.....These are not people that can be trusted when making promises. They told me what i needed to hear when trying to get my business, then didn't deliver on their promises..... They got the money and didn't want to finish the car properly........

Look at the pictures and its obvious that the auto repair by Summit Collision Centers of Lexington, SC is not acting professionally with their poor customer service.

HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED>

The insurance company has tried to discuss this with them, but they get rude on the phone and refuse to finish the vehicle properly.

On top of all this, my time is important to me, and the costs associated with this entire mess is outrageous.

This is what and how it happened to me.

I have taken the vehicle back to Summit Lexington (twice) and each time they have NOT delivered on their promises to fix and repair the car properly. Actually, they did take the car back once to "try" to fix several issues, but they caused a few more...

On/About December 12, 2013 the car was delivered to Summit Collision (Lexington, SC) at Jim Ford Hudson for repairs. On/About February 7, 2014, the car was released as finished...it was not even close.

1. Paint did not match.

2. Door alignment not right.

3. Hood crooked.

4. Excessive "oranage-peel" paint mis-match

5. Wheels damaged and chipped.

6. Excessive paint fumes inside vehicle - undrivable.

7. Under hood area's over-painted

8. Mounting "optional" accessories that should NOT have been on car and discussed up front. Basically, very careless about how they handle the repair of the vehicle.

See Pictures here.

On/About February 10th, 2014 I returned the car for re-finishing and I received it back one week later with most repairs re-done but incurred additional issues and damage.

1. Some of the paint tape lines are now present.

2. They left chips and paint lines in the doors and front bumper

3. They deodorized the car with a perfume based masking agent to cover up the paint fumes...this stuff causes allergic reaction to my wife - DID THIS WITHOUT PERMISSION.

4. My keyless door locks stopped working after 2nd repair.

5. the front end now steers different and is hard to drive straight

I HAVE A PICTURES TO DOCUMENT THIS ENTIRE EPISODE AND THE INSURANCE ADJUSTOR IS ALSO FRUSTRATED WITH THEIR LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.

All i want is the car fixed and repaired to pre-accident condition, but they refuse.

I was very happy with the service I received when they fixed my pearl white Toyota Highlander. When it took a day longer than expected, they took care of authorizing an extra day for my rental car, I didn't have to do anything! Fixed it fast, kept me informed, and did an awesome job.
