Posh Pets

I recently started going to posh pets awhile back ago, and might i just say how pleased i was with the service provided. I was nervous at first taking my dog their by all the reviews i have seen. I was reassured by couple of friends that it would be well worth it! I started taking my dog their and sure enough i was very pleased with the young lady there! She is very good with her work! Embarrassed to say my dog was matted, and i was certain she would have to shave him, but to my surprise she was able to save the coat and turned my dog into a well groomed little shihtzu! I dont understand why so many bad reviews about the business? I do notice a slight smell of smoke, but it wasnt bad like these reviews are saying at all! I also find it nice that its family oriented with the young lady's family there with her! Her husband was very kind and helpful as well, and those little boys are so precious and friendly! I recommend anyone to go to posh pets at richland mall! I have many of friends that recommended me their and i am very pleased!!!

I have always had great service. The prices are very reasonable and staff is friendly. The little boy there is a cutie.

never ever, ever take your precious pet to Posh Pets. The location that I took my dog was in Richland mall, it was SO awful. They have their children, I'm assuming, running around letting them touch all over our precious animals and that is so unprofessional. When I walked in the 'groomer' was not very business like dressed, wearing short shorts and a tank-top, it smelled like a smoking parlor so bad, I walked out and will never return again, they need better management.

I'm so upset with this place I could cry. My poor dog looks so ridiculous, I'm embarrassed to take her out in public. I left instructions on her cut and she got completely butchered!!! It looks like a 5-year old got hold of the clippers and had a field day. It will probably take a year to get her hair long enough to "fix" her cut and look fairly normal again. I wouldn't take a rat there to get groomed. If you love your dog, keep it far, far away from Posh Pets. By the way, they charge more than normal groomers to butcher your pet's hair!!! Run, run, run!!!!!!!!

I boarded a single dog for five days. I requested the boarding service and to have my pet bathed, nails clipped, etc. I was told to pick up my pet at a specific time. My first impression of the business is that it is run down and poorly maintained. My appointment was written in the margin of a calender. I tried to pick up my pet several times on the appointed day. The business was not open that day and the person who called me back (I had to leave a message) stated he wasn't aware of the the time I was supposed to pick up my pet. When I was able to pick up my pet, she was not bathed, nails not clipped, and she was roaming free in the back. Her food container was chewed up and no longer functional. I assume they let her roam free and she was able to chew up the container, they placed the container in her cage allowing her to chew on it, or another dog chewed it up. I now have to spend my own money to replace her food container. In the end I will not go back to Posh Pets. They did not complete the services requested (I did not pay for the bath, etc), they allowed my dog (or another dog) to destroy our plastic food container, and they don't seem to have a very good business sense with the scheduling and communication. I do not recommend them. Hopefully, they will use the constructive criticism and improve their business practices.

Animal lovers if u love your dogs please never take your dogs to the one on forest drive! They charged me 85 dollars for my labs bath when i picked her up the dog was still wet and her nails were not cut like i asked them to be . the owner she was very late. When i got their on time. When i got my dog back home i was looking over her she smelled like smoke so bad my husband had to rewash her in our bath tub. why do they call them selfs "posh " they are far from that. the owner told me she has been in the dog grooming business for over 30 years. maybe she needs to go back to school and learn how to dry the dogs. Please Please never take your dogs to her. they should be put out of business.
