Beware of low budget mechanics shops. I took my car in to have my power steering pump replace. When I went to pick my car up I notice dirt marks alone the tires. To me the dirt marks indicated it was on a dirt road and I didn't see any reason why it was on that kind of surface if the area was surrounded by pavement. Fifteen minutes after I drove away from this shop, my car started running hot. I called them about this problem, and they suggest I bring the car back. The car ended up shutting down five miles later. I had this car five years and it never ran hot. I work around military mechanics for six years therefore I knew exactly what was going on with my car. Somehow the oil was getting into my coolant and water was getting into my engine. I contacted the shop again and they immediately denied fault. On top of that they said, "We're willing to help you get the car back to the shop but you have to pay us for fixing the problem." I have no problem helping small companies in my community progress, but if I give you my money you should be able to provide me with decent work. Now I have to rely on the dealership (which by the way already have enough funds to keep them in business) to fix my car.
