Oakland Mills High School, founded in 1973, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It is affiliated with Howard County Public School System and has an enrollment of more 1,000 students. The school s curriculum offers a variety of subjects, such as English, mathematics, social studies, science, history, oral communication, computers, and physical and health education. It also provides special education and day programs for students with developmental and learning difficulties. The extracurricular activities offered by the school include performing arts, dramatics, photography, forensics, chorus, yearbook, National Honor Society, newspaper, student council, and French, science and mathematics clubs. The school offers a variety of sports activities to students, such as volleyball, wrestling, basketball, football, cross country, baseball, and track and field. Oakland Mills High School is located in Columbia, Md.
