        Parents, be warned when you take your students to this school. The principal will initially be warm and caring to you, but the second you happen to bring up a problem, she will become the most difficult person you will deal with. My daughter with autism was severely bullied but the teacher was uninterested and failed to take action. The teacher literally hid behind her desk and ran when I tried to talk to her. We had to transfer our children out of the school due to the conduct on the part of the teacher and principal and vice principal that was so bad we had to file a complaint with the district that sustained our allegegations of bullying by the student and teacher involved. The teacher would repeatedly mark our child's work wrong despite it being correct, leading to lower grades than she had earned. I went to this district myself, and Sunrise is a major let down for all of us.
