This guys is a scam artist, he took money from my grandparents who are ina fixed income 6 months ago to paint their house and has never done a second of work. I will be contacting the bbb and the call for action and police. Do not give this guy money he is a crook!

Meticulous House Painter

If you have a hurry up job for house painting, John Neyers, owner of Have Brush Will Travel, may not be who you are looking for. But if you want the best job you can possibly get to make your house look better than you imagined was possible, I suggest you give John a call.In my many years of home ownership, I have hired several different painters. I will admit that I am not as savy re: what sort of care decorative shake shingles on gables need to bring them back to life. I expected that John would power wash the gables, put some stain on and be done. Little did I know that he probably wouldn't want to do a job as I just described. He, carefully brushed and scraped the old stain off; added appropriate nails as needed, treated discolaration with a liquid. If he thought he needed to go back and work on an area again after standing back, he did so. I felt as if he treated my home as if it were his own. I'm sure his twenty five+ years experience in the house *care business has taught him just about everything you would want your painter to know. He uses brush (as advertised!), and other small tools to give the desired affect on the house. When he said he would be finished within a certain amount of time, he was. But, he did not rush the job so he could get on to the next project. He left me with some of the stain to use in touch ups should there be damage from storms.Interesting that prior to hearing of John, I was becoming very frustrated trying to find a good painter to take care of the shingles. "The job is too small; I don't get on roofs; I don't have time to give you a bid; etc," When I mentioned this to a woman who works for a bigger painting company, she recommended John. He lives in CO Springs but agreed to make the drive to my home in Denver for my "small" job.I say *care because John is accomplished in many aspects of home improvement. He cares about his work, is precise, and makes suggestions where needed. Thanks to John, I feel confident that my home can withstand the strong elements CO weather presents us with year round. And, it goes without saying, that he cleaned up carefully throughout the project.

John is the most unprofessional contractor I have even come across. He was hired to paint my newly put up fence and stairs. When I came home form work, I was shocked to find that the colors were not even close to my old fence, there are drip marks, uneven paint lines, missed areas. John told me that this is the way the wood soaks up the stain. Horrible Job! Not recommended
