We boarded our elderly, sick dog here for 7 days, who has been their patient for over a year. They neglected to give her fluids as they prescribed to us for her kidney failure months ago. She will likely not recover from this neglect in their care.

This is the most amazing veterinarian I have ever met. He is truly in this because he loves animals. They saved my little dog her I popped out she lost her eye but I didn't lose her life. For an extremely beyond reasonable fee they save my young dog and I am forever grateful thank you.

Lemon S. You're right about the wait and multitasking but that is because he is the best vet with the best prices. About a year ago my kitten was injured by the belt of a car engine which stripped the skin off of his tail. Yes VERY bad. On a Saturday. So I thought I would have to wait until Monday morning to stop his suffering and chance of infection. I was VERY upset. Someone had Alfred's cell # he said bring him over. On a Saturday evening! He surgically removed the tail and charged just $85. My dad got out his wallet with only $80. Dr Vardeman refused to take more than $75 saying it was "bad luck to take a man's last dollar." He is very well known to be the best and I've been a few times as the only one there. Always call before you go to get an idea about how long the wait may be unless your pet needs immediate care. He can't just tell people to go elsewhere so he has no control of how long the wait times are. Years ago I had a lot of neighborhood cats that needed spay and neutering. He made sure I got a huge discount to get that done. With things he can control he goes above and beyond greatness. He just can't control wait times. Btw that injured tail kitten is now a happy, chubby ball of fuzz sitting to my left as I write this.

Always at least a 3 hour wait even with am appointment. I waited 2 1/2 hours just to get in a room. And another 30-1 hr in the room while he waited on the dog that came in right before I went in the room. And no, the dog wasn't in dire need. It had allergies.! So upset today. Especially since he came on to look at us then was interrupted by anther walk-in horse patient and apparently forgot we were here.

This is the only Vets office we use. The DR.'s are great and freindly, the price are managble. They really take care of your pets af all sizes!!!!
