Order a bedroom set from Ashley on November, 10, 2016 and was called two weeks later and informed delivery was delayed, a few weeks later when a delivery was determined, was called and told the furniture was damaged and it would be a little longer. Its the end of January and still no furniture, I called to cancel purchase and was informed there is a no return policy and I asked how is it a return if I never received it? Was then told the store manager would call me. I will not be taking this furniture nor will I ever do business with Ashley again. Please believe the reviews about the Ashley furniture store in Colonial Heights, customer service is the worse I have ever experienced. Dr. M. Etheridge

Do not ever ever shop here go to Value City, Haynes, Butterworths anywhere but here!!!! These people are nothing but liars! i have been waiting on my furniture for over a month and a half. I ordered it on 5/15, nothing fancy just a living room set estimated time 6/11 (which is still long), than i called and they said they are waiting on a pillow and I will get it around 6/24 (really 2 weeks for a pillow) and I called again when that day past and now they are saying 07/12 because they are waiting on a sofa. Really i ordered my dining room from Value City and got it 3 days later. I have an $8000 credit limit and they will not see a penny more out of me. I tried cancelling and they said " all sales are final": Well that's the last sale you have from me or anyone I know.

Deja Vu! Exact experience I had. Nice and smiley and promises, promises BEFORE they take your money. Once they have your money it is a different story. 6 weeks and still no furniture. Every time I call it's a different excuse. Stay away! Not an honest company!

My wife and I recently bought furniture from Ashley’s in Colonial Heights, VA over a month ago. When we paid for the furniture we specified to the saleswoman that we would need our things delivery no later than 30 days due to use PCSing/Army move (we told her if this was an issue we wouldn’t be able to make the purchase). She gave us her word that this “wouldn’t be an issue at all” and “that was plenty of time”. More than a month later it turned out to be an issue due to our furniture being on back order. When we returned to the store to resolve the issue and asked for a refund since we wouldn’t be able to wait any longer we were surprised by the change in attitude of the saleswoman. Not only did she deny our agreement but stated that the contract we signed said the store had 8 weeks to delivery our furniture (again not what we discussed). Our experience with this Ashley’s was great when we PAID for the furniture but we were extremely disappointed with the drop in customer service mainly on the part of the saleswoman who sold us the furniture. We simply wanted a reasonable resolution but were met with very unclear answers and what appeared to us to be a refusal to give us a full refund. This has affected our opinion of Ashley’s Furniture as a whole and we don’t intend on ever doing business with them again. And yes we still haven’t received our furniture and we are at week 6 from when we purchased the furniture.

When you go in the the store t...

When you go in the the store they greet you very nicely and professionally. They try their hardest for you to purchase their merchandise and when you do they take your money right then and there. And i paid in cash. then they tell you it will take 2 to 8 weeks for your furniture to be picked up or delivered. i decided to pick my furniture up to save some money. When they called me to tell me it was ready to be picked up and i had two days to pick it up or it was a $10 storage fee per day. When i arrived at the warehouse i had to wait an hour for them to find my furniture in their very unorganized warehouse. Each piece that they brought to me had a different name on each package. I was able to look at the mirror there due to the poor packaging and was damaged. The paint was peeling and the face of the frame was chipped. Glue was also coming out of the seams where the frame was mated. I asked for a new mirror and they repacked it and got me another mirror. The chest and dresser were boxed up and i was unable to look at it there. When i got it home the wood was slipt on the bottom on both pieces. i called the store and they told me to call product services. I finally got ahold of someone and they said she would have someone call me to make an appointment for someone to come and survey it. I never heard from anyone for over a week. i had to keep on calling to get someone to help me. Someone finally called me back and said when it is at my conveniency after i said i would like it picked up saturday they said they can do it until wednesday... then why ask me. After all is said they said they have to get the furniture back before i can get a refund. Then they told me it will take 10 to 12 days before i get my money back. i could undersatnd if it was a debeit or credit but it was cash. i looked at they papers i signed and it was not stated any where on my contract. No one in thoses store care about their custmors. they just care about the money. I dont not want this to happen to anyone else because it is a scam. Please dont take you busy there. IT IS NOT WORTH IT BECAUSE YOU WILL BE UNHAPPY WHEN YOU RECIEVE YOU PURCHASE!!!
