She was obsessed with my insurance deductible and confused about insurance policies, so she cancelled on me an hour before my visit, stating that ..either I pay the full visit fee ($146, which is covered by my policy. I only pay a small co-pay), or we need to "postpone".
-She only takes cash, which is very unusual.
-On the phone, an hour before my scheduled visit, she never explained why, but she wanted me to reschedule a later appointment because I offered to get my insurance on the phone to confirm my benefits, although I was told 2 days before, that there were no later appointments available that week. at this point, because my family and I worked our whole day around this visit, a later visit wasn't even an option for us. So... she cancelled our scheduled appointment.
-unreasonable and rude behavior on the phone. There was a point that she said my name 5 times consecutively to shut me up, because she was unwilling to hear and understand the easy, simple benefits of my plan that I was trying to explain to her.
-she is the one who really needs counseling and psychiatric help. Someone needs to check her competency.
-during the initial phone call to schedule a visit, she said she does everything exactly how insurance covers things, I guess letting me know that I need family coverage for insurance to pay this visit. Then when I was telling her I was fully covered for family.. it turned out, she wanted to do things her way outside of my insurance coverage actually. I think she was hoping my insurance wouldn't cover it, so she could get cash up front from me.
-there was a point where she said she wasn't going to wait for my insurance to pay my bill because she sends everything by paper lol, so she required it upfront. My insurance doesn't work like that, and she wanted no part in hearing the facts of my policy.
-Just unreal, hopefully she was just having a bad day, and clients don't have to deal with this regularly. But since she didn't have a review yet,I thought I'd help out
