Deep Tissue Massage
Dr. Gehman was very informative and advised me of the planned treatment. After the treatment of multiple deep tissue pressure, I had more range of motion in my neck on both sides. I was advised of further treatment and exercises to complete on my own. I only had a slight amount of bruising and after a week, the soreness was gone and I still had the ROM in my neck.
Sports Massage
Kristina (Nina) Balogh has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since the Spring of 2016. After graduating with her Bachelors’ degree in English she decided to pursue her lifelong interest in sports and fitness by studying the art of bodywork and massage. An avid runner and triathlete, Nina loves to work with everyone on varying levels of fitness: from the weekend worriers to serious athletes helping with everyday muscle aches to rehabbing injured muscles. She understands the importance of self-care in everyone’s lives and wants to be able to assist anyone and everyone to achieve optimum health and relaxation. Nina is skilled in many different modalities with special interest and certifications in Soft Tissue Mobilization (Grastin technique), Myofascial Release Techniques as well as Sports Massage and Cupping. When she’s not massaging you can find Nina either relaxing with her husband and three fur babies or training for her next big race.
Craniosacral Massage
Mallory became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2012 and joined Spinal Care in 2013. She specializes in deep tissue neuromuscular and myofascial techniques. Mallory is also training to become certified in Craniosacral Therapy and has been trained in several energy therapies such as Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy. She also does work with chakras and meridians. Mallory is a classically trained chef and loves making lamb curry, seafood gumbo, macarons, chocolate soufflés, and baking all kinds of gluten free and paleo treats.

Great experience! I had sustained a shoulder injury from shooting my compound bow. Was recommended to Spinal Care by a sports medicine doctor. I had some reservations because in the past when I visited other chiropractors, the treatment only consisted of a spinal adjustment and routine and regular continued office visits. This was not the case with Spinal Care.

I have been dealing with a hamstring pull for almost a year. I've been evaluated by Sports Medicine, had a non eventful MRI and 8 weeks of Physical Therapy and there was no improvement. I'm a tennis player and had to give it up for months. I returned to Dr. Walters and experienced myofascial release procedures. This was the breakthrough. I returned for another "release" and just recently followed up with a therapeutic massage with Mallory at Spinal Care. This has been life altering. I'm about 90% improved. I will return and hope for 100% recovery. Dr. Walters is thoughtful and caring; she listens and tries to tailor her treatment considering your symptoms. I really cannot say enough for Dr. Walters and her staff.
