Dr Aronson-Ramos has been serving Children and Families in South Florida since 1993. She received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, her M.D. from the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine, and completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. She received her Board Certification in General Pediatrics in 1993 and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics through the clinical pathway program in 2007.
Primary Care
Medication refills require 48 hours notice. The specific procedures for medication refills will be discussed during your office visit and vary based on individual clinical needs. Each case is truly different. However, be aware our office is paperless and all medications are prescribed electronically. This includes controlled substances which previously required a handwritten prescription. Be mindful that regular follow up visits are required for medication refills from our office. For stimulants this means an office visit approximately every 3- 4 months. This is the current standard of care and we encourage scheduling your follow ups at the end of your visit to avoid problems with obtaining medication refills. In situations where medication has been stabilized and sub specialty care is no longer needed you will be referred back to your primary care physician for refills and follow up if requested.
