Prostate Cancer
The FDA requires warning about the risk of testosterone therapy, worsening BPH, potential risk of prostate cancer, and increased prostatic specific antigen (PSA). Contrary to this warning, testosterone therapy seems beneficial in preventing BPH/LUTS (Saad, 2007; Yassin et al., 2014). Moreover, most research has concluded that there is little to no evidence that men treated with testosterone have higher risks for BPH and associated symptoms (Reynaud et al., 2015). In a randomized control trial of 44 late-onset hypogonadal men, Marks et al. (2006) found that those treated with TRT did not significantly increase prostate tissue testosterone or DHT levels, or gene alteration, despite having significantly increased levels of serum testosterone.

Hypothyroidism

Mammography
Thermography uses a digital infrared thermal imaging to detect and record the infrared heat radiating from the surface of the body. Clusters of abnormal cells that can develop into a cancer often have an increased blood supply that leads to an elevation in the temperature of the skin over the area. Thermography, when used as an adjunct to mammography has the ability to warn women, years before any other procedure, that inflammation is present that could later become something more serious in nature. This is the best prevention: Find inflammation that can be addressed at the earliest stages.

Whiplash
Treatment typically involves a series of micro-injections, injecting mannitol just under the skin with a very small needle. A patient will have multiple, nearly painless injections during a single session. On average, it takes 6 to 8 sessions to have full relief of pain. Occasionally, up to 15 session may be needed if the patient has had prior surgeries, a severe whiplash injury with widespread pain, and/or significant underlying medical illnesses (diabetes, autoimmune disorder or history of cancer.)

Women of all ages can benefit from breast thermography screening. Combining thermography with mammography, it is especially useful for younger women 35 to 40yo who are known to have denser breast tissue denser breast tissue. The assessment is particularly useful for women who have breast implants or have had breast augmentation. For women who have had breast cancer, an infra-red breast scan is an excellent way to assess the health breast that did not have cancer for early signs of inflammation that can be addressed naturally with supplements and diet. The new technique, Neural Prolotherapy, was developed by John Lyftogt, MD in New Zealand. He has been in practice since 1978, with extensive postgraduate training and experience in sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine. Dr Lyftogt’s early research focused on the treatment of Achilles tendon problems. His technique differs from classical prolotherapy, which injects a solution into the tendons to stimulate cell regeneration, great care is taken to avoid needle contact with the exquisitely sensitive tendon. He has now treated more than 300 Achilles tendons with a success rate of more than 90%. Dr John has published 4 studies in the Australasian Journal of Musculoskeletal Medicine since 2005.

Thermography can be used in sports medicine, dentistry, podiatry, rheumatology, and neurology. In the past, thermography was used to identify and isolate the location of the injury when no other test could. As these findings were often used in lawsuits, the insurance industry took steps to diminish the value of thermography in courts of law. For example, if someone was claiming that they were still in pain from an automobile accident or through a Workers Compensation claim, thermography was used to locate the pain. Pain is a subjective complaint; if thermography did not identify areas of inflammation, the lawsuit was often lost.
