Kitchen Remodeling
Description Historically designed to match the architectural detailing of the cottage. Cedar siding, painting pine bead board interior, brass handrails, Corian countertops, cedar dock boxes, boat lifts with deck surrounding the boats for ease of maintenance, and BBQ porch
Flooring
Description Removal of interior partitions to open the floor plan and reconstruction of the majority of interior spaces. An existing staircase was removed in the entry and the void was filled in to match the surrounding existing details. Linoleum flooring was removed, and the wood floor underneath was sanded and refinished. An existing staircase in the kitchen / living area was removed and rebuilt to create a better circulation pattern. The project dramatically improves the quality of the interior space due to the removal of many unnecessary wall partitions and an improved circulation pattern.

Window Installation/Replacement
Description An interior renovation of a late-nineteenth century cottage. Repairing & rebuilding foundation at deteriorated points, installing new windows and doors at kitchen and living room, rewiring & updating electrical switches and outlets, sanding & refinishing kitchen floor, refinishing and updating kitchen (appliances & fixtures), and refinishing living room (interior walls finished with tongue-and-groove fir boards).
Siding
Description An exterior renovation of a late-nineteenth century structure. During the mid-twentieth century, the exterior was clad in large cedar shingles. The current owner wanted to remove that siding and return it to the original shiplap, or cove-mould, siding. In addition, the majority of the front porch was rebuilt to return it to its original condition. This included remaking the turned columns, and repairing and replacing gingerbread trim details.

Description New cottage integrating original fishing camp into master bedroom. Cedar shingle siding, metal and asphalt roofs, popular cathedral ceiling, granite countertops, IPE and stainless steel rail porches, and concealed library ladder with bookshelf entrance to loft.

Description Renovation of an existing ranch house with new Arts & Crafts details. New porch with piers and screened area, roof, and insulation of existing structure.
Masonry
Founder, Andy Greene, developed his interest in building as a Peace Corps volunteer in the North African country of Tunisia. Outside of the capital, Tunis, he designed and built his own residence using traditional masonry construction techniques. This was a part of a self-help housing program.
