She received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise Science and Wellness from The University of Tennessee at Martin and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. She has experience in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, women’s health, and vestibular rehabilitation. STAR Physical Therapy was founded in 1997 with one clinic and one mission – To Serve You. Today, we have grown to serve Tennessee with over 65 outpatient physical therapy centers and are excited to expand our services to Gordonsville, Tennessee. We provide world-class, hands-on physical therapy, sports medicine, and industrial rehabilitation in the convenience of your hometown. Our industry-leading clinician education program ensures that your physical therapy experience will be exceptional. Rest assured that, when you choose STAR Physical Therapy, you will be treated by a “Great mechanic of the human body”.
Physical Therapy
If you do not have insurance benefits that cover physical therapy, we will work with you to ensure you receive the same standard of care as our patients with insurance coverage. We offer discounts off our fee schedule for our uninsured or underinsured patients as well as provide the same payment options and arrangements if per-visit responsibility becomes too much of a financial burden.
Occupational Therapy
Our program includes guiding a PT student by being their Clinical Instructor or participating in research. It’s our way of rewarding those who work to better themselves, STAR, and the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Certified Athletic Training industries. We are thankful for our clinician’s dedication to their patients and to their profession.
Manual Therapy
STAR Physical Therapy has 65+ convenient locations throughout Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alabama. We specialize in spine, neck, and joint physical therapy, manual therapy, sports medicine, and industrial rehabilitation. In addition, many of our locations offer specialized physical therapy programs, including occupational therapy, hand therapy, balance and vestibular therapy, and a cancer program that helps cancer patients recover the endurance, function, and strength that is often affected throughout cancer treatments.
