First class in my book. A&G tree service was contracted by CEMC to fulfill my work order to heavily trim four trees touching lines. Polite, efficient, professional, the mission was accomplished quickly and all (ALL) trash removed. For the past 12 years, CEMC has been A+ out here in the extreme northern end of the county. their autopay system did not draft as it was supposed to, so I paid it manually (they were about to shut off my power I found out later with no second attempt to contact me!) I didn't think anything of it later, until I tried to move my service to a new house. they told me since there was a missed payment, I would have to pay a deposit because it affected my credit score. I said that's impossible, my credit score is 780. She said that it was my "CEMC internal only credit score". So basically this company has its own internal score that it just decides that you need to pay a deposit with no third party impartial score. And since they are a monopoly, they get away with it!!

so their system messes up, and I get stuck with a ridiculous "credit score" that says now I have to pay a deposit!?!

Would give a 0 score if I could! Worst company ever for responding to outages. Power goes out in my area every time it rains and three or four hours later still no power. cemc sucks a big one.

CEMC and CDE would be rated 0 if there was an option to. I've never experienced such poor quality service from an electric company. There rates are un-reasonable, and customer service doesn't care to do anything.

Hands down the worst electric company EVER. I have lived in five different cities and have never experienced so many power outages and/or for such extended periods of time. It isn't even raining and the power goes out. Horrible. Just plain horrible.
