It was established in 1969 with more than 90 nursing beds, including a 10-plus bed rehabilitation unit. The center is certified by Medicare and Medicaid. It provides suites and independent apartments for the residents of the community. Its accommodations include a private rooms equipped with an emergency call system. It offers a variety of lifestyle options that include independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and long-term care. It provides comprehensive nursing and rehabilitation services that include meals, housekeeping, personal laundry services, transportation and social activities. The center s intermediate care also referred as long-term care provides services for patients with chronic medical, physical and mental problems. Pickaway Manor Care Center also operates a special care unit offering care for individuals with dementia-related disorders and Alzheimer's disease.
