I gave a Groupon to my wife for Christmas. She scheduled an appointment and received a confirmation email. When she showed up for her appointment, she was told that she was not in the reservation book and they could not help her. She showed them the confirmation email and they told her she was out of luck because they were booked and could only do a manicure for her instead of a 2.5 hour spa package. She would have to reschedule to use the Groupon, she was told. The mani was done at no charge, but by the time she left the salon, the polish was coming off. She drove to a competitor and had a mani/pedi done properly. Besides not being able to use her Groupon, she was treated rudely with a do-not-care attitude. At one point, an employee even laughed at her. My wife will never set foot in that salon again.
