This farm is the best farm I have been to in the past 20 years. While it is not fancy in the least bit, everyone there is very welcoming and willing to help you if needed. Joanne is extremely knowledgeable and constantly trying to improve herself so she can better help her horses and riders advance. Her prices are very reasonable and she has great lesson horses for every level of rider. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking to become a better horsemen.

I have ridden her for a little more than a year and I lease and Johanne loves all the horses and she is the best rider I've ever seen. Any house that's underweight is given more nourished food and she hand trains horses. If you want to start riding then instantly go to a show this isnt the place because Johanne makes sure you know what your doing.

What a wonderful place. The horses are well cared for and the instruction is wonderful. While the pastures may not be the largest or greenest, the animal care and compassion and quality instruction well makes up for it.

Funny how the previous 3 negative reviews were all written on the same date. Perhaps someone has a grudge against Joanne.....seems to me there is a more appropriate way to handle that. Anyway, I have nothing but good things to say about Joanne and her lesson program. She knows a lot and has proven herself to be a great teacher. The horses living at the farm are a bit overcrowded and the pastures could be in better shape....but none of the animals seem to be hungry or lacking in any way. Remember, you get what you pay for and if you are looking for cheap boarding, yes you probably will get less grass and more mud.

I was considering boarding my horse here last year because it was cheap and included an indoor arena. After visiting the facility, I was concerned by the conditions of the farm so I did a background check on the owners. This is a practice I began years earlier when I had to leave my child with daycare providers. I was horrified to read the extensive criminal arrests of the farm owner.

I would NEVER take my child or horse to this farm, and would recommend that anyone considering this facility do the same thing I did and really check out Joanne and Stephen Mohr.

This farm is run illegally and unsafely. The owner, Joanne Mohr, may have several years of experience, but has no license and no people skills at all. Her husband, Steven Mohr, has a criminal record and should not be allowed to be around children. Their horses are malnourished and abused. Not exactly the family - friendly place they claim to be. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there.....well maybe.

Please do not go to this farm or take your children to this farm without doing a criminal backround check on Stephen B Mohr the farm owner. Once you see his criminal history you will not want to take your children to this farm. You will find his criminal record to be repulsive with picking up prostitutes etc.
