Lisa's Custom Cakes

Lisa made our wedding with the cake she made for us. It was a three tiered cake that was on a different platforms. It was decorated to fit in with our fall theme. Here's a link to a picture of the cake. I think the cake got about as many complements as us. We meet with Lisa before the wedding for the consultation and had a very through brainstorming session, she took the few ideas we had and was able to produce an excellent and delicious centerpiece. It was a chocoalte cake wit hbuttercream frosting and the leaves and vine decorations were made of chocolate.

I would never order a cake from anywhere else. Having personally helped her make the cakes, I see the love and devotion she puts into every order. She has practically taught herself how to do everything from the very beginning and has even taught me a few tricks, her talent is limitless as it grows stronger by every cake she makes. The cakes are not only intricate, they are scrumptious also. Many times have I heard people say, "oh, just a tiny tiny piece, please," but once they try it, they always ask for seconds. Whatever flavor it may be, and there are quite a few to chose from, the cake always melts in your mouth, moist and full of flavor. If you're looking for something to spice up your next party, shower, or whatever occasion it may be, order a cake from Lisa, because it sure does make the occasion one to be remembered.

We had Lisa make the graduation cake for our son's party. It was fantastic! The cake was strawberry with strawberry filling and decorated uniquely for his personality - speed bumps, car tracks and all! She can design a cake specifically for an occasion based on someone's interests and it makes it more meaningful to the event - it's not just a cake, it's a part of the memory for the special day. The cake looked amazing and tasted great. Lisa is definitely a top-notch baker!

Lisa make a fantastic custom cake for my friends batchlorette party. I asked her to make a cake inspired by the grooms cake in steel magnolias. The armadillo came out great. It had eyes, claws and a long scaled tail. Not only that, but she made it a red velvet cake just like in the movie. It was quite possibly the most moist, delicious cake I've had. My friends loved the cake and couldn't believe I had found someone who could make it. The cake was a highlight of the party. Thanks Lisa for such a great cake!

Not only do these cakes look great, they taste great too! Definitly worthwhile!

Lisa is so talented! She has made a wide variety of cakes...from beautiful traditional wedding cakes, graduation cakes, birthday cakes to creative cakes like armadillos and a Thanksgiving Turkey. She made the Thanksgiving Turkey for me! It was soooo delicious - carrot cake made with fresh carrots - and it looked exactly like a Thanksgiving Turkey. My friends couldn't believe how real it looked! They also said (and I agree with them) that it was the most delicious cake they ever tasted! Her cakes are so moist and she has so many flavors to choose from. My favorite is the orange flavor (which she made me for my birthday). She also makes non dairy cakes - a plus for me (allergic to dairy). She will do anything to accommodate for anyone. She has make diabetic cakes and cakes made with splenda - so that everyone could eat it. She wants no one to be left out of eating her delicious cakes. After eating her cakes, I can never go back. I can't find another cake that even comes close to tasting that good. Amazing and would recommend her to anyone!
