La Hacienda Restaurant

This is one of Chico's oldest restaurant businesses (maybe the oldest?) and they have always strived for excellence in food quality and service. The bar is good, too, especially the Margaritas! Their "Secret Sauce" dressing for salads (or put it on anything you like) comes in a squeeze plastic bottle and is similar to Thousand Island, but still has its own unique flavor. It's a La Hacienda tradition; make sure you try it. Quantity and quality of food usually pleases all, and even though the service is a bit slow on busy nights, it's worth the wait.

This is La Hacienda, and has been in Chico forever and ever. Food, Service, Bar, Parking - all VERY GOOD!

A little pricier than some other Mexican restaurants in the area, but worth the money if you care for quality.

My family went here for the first time in a while last week. Several family members ordered chicken items. When the dishes came, the chicken was very dry and overcooked on all the dishes. However, my husband ordered the fish tacos and thought they were great. The service was excellent though.

If you don't mind paying a little more for excellent food, this is the place for you! They also have really good drinks there!

I love the atmosphere in the restaurant. The service can be a little slow, when they are busy. But, believe me the food makes up for it! They give you so much food, you walk away stuffed, and still have food to take home! They have a really yummy dressing you can put on everything! But don't ask what's in it cause its a secret! I would recommend to everyone to try them cause I have never gotten anything there I haven't liked!
