Checkers Taxi

When I need to get around in the dark I always prepare a ride via friend or taxi. I call about two days in advanced with a follow up call for confirmation the day before for said taxi. This morning the fruits of my preparation did not blossom. Checkers Taxi with whom I had originally set my appointment with confirmed Friday afternoon for the 3:20am Saturday taxi I would need. At both 3:30am and 3:35am there was no answer to their call line. By 3:35 I was frantically looking for another cab. At 3:36am Liberty Cab (the 4 taxi service in my googled taxi search) actually had a person on the other end to receive phone calls spoke to me and said there was a 2hour plus wait. I explained my dilemma of needing to be on a train at 3:50am and the service operator said to give her 10 minutes. At precisely 3:44am, a taxi appeared and was able to get me to the train station where the train already sat loading. I was the last to board the train before it's departure. I cannot express in words how deeply appreciative I am for their services this early morning. I will defiantly be booking with them again in the future.
