Touhy & Western Standard Service

Worst service ever!!!!! I went in on October 24th with a brand new rim in box and two tires. I had them put it on my car. I was serviced by Nabill. A couple days pass and I start to hear clicking coming from under the hood. I take it to them and he checks my engine and tells me that its something to do with the engine. I did not believe him so I took it to my usual mechanic. (I only took it to their shop because I was on a time contraint). My mechanic tells me there is NOTHING wrong with anything under the hood. A week goes by and my car starts to shake so bad that it is not safe or driveable. I had someone follow my car and come to find out ---THE WHEEL IS FALLING OFF!!!! Two bolts are missing and the tire is off the rim! I call them immediately and demand them to tow my car and fix their faulty work! They told me they will send a mechanic out to fix it. I waited in my car for 3 hours for someone to tow my car into their shop! The mechanic came, tightened the bolts on the wheel and took it to their shop. I asked them to check for damages because that was a BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX rim that I brought to them. Another mechanic worked on it and told me the holes of the rim are damaged from driving on it loose. He told me it was ok, damaged but still drivable. I was LIVID! The manager Peter told me he will take care of it and have Nabill order me a new one. Two weeks passed and I still did not receive a phone call about my new rim. I called and they said come in it will be here. I stop in two days later and the rim is not there! I speak to another mechanice, Ricky who spoke to Nabill. Something happened where they sent the rim back. I spoke to Nabill and he was trying to find a cheaper rim because it will be coming out of his pocket, and he was looking for a refurbished rim. I go off! I demanded a brand new rim from the dealership in box and packaging just like how I brought mine in. He told me he will call me. A month has passed and I call them. Peter tells me it has been sitting at the shop for a week now. I go into the shop and he brings out this rim that looks refurbished! There is no packaging to it, it was filthy with chemicals spilled on it and nicks and scratches on it! At this point I am demanding a brand new with box rim and a refund for the time spent chasing them for their faulty work and service! Peter tells me he wont refund me but he will order me new rim. I am still expecting their call to finish this ridiculous situation! No morals and no sense for customer service! I am not a happy customer and would never recommend anyone to get work done there!

I have had nothing but good experiences with this place. I recently went to Midas for an oil change. They told me that I needed the Tie Rod replaced on the drivers side and quoted me a price of $940.00. I came here and talked to Tony. He told me to go to Autozone (two blocks away) to pick up the part which cost $17.40. They charged me $65 to put it on. Enough said.

They gave me worn out , cracked up tyres when I wnet there to buy 2nd hand tyres during an emergency roadside breakdown-flat tyres! t was 1 or 2 am and I had no where to go apart from where the AAA guy towed me. Both replaced tyres went flat within one day of each other - and I was stuck with a $90 bill from D'Agostino, $140 bill from AAA for towing and I used up 3 AAA emergency breakdown service calls plus had to buy 2 tyres again from Firestone...so all in all I ended up spending so much more money and won't even bother describing the hassles and mobility-issues as I use my car for work and had to use Hertz rentals for 4days till all this was sorted out. Waited for these guyz to issue some reimbursement but they were rude, mean and took full advantage of my situation- they refused any replacement- no customer service etiquettes and no ethics!!!

If you don't want unecessary trouble and huge bills- stay away is what I will say!
