Chicago Pediatric Clinic

I use to live in Chicago and my daughter was referred to this office, since she had a hearing impediment and needed special attention. I was referred by a general dr. Back 2002 more or less.



Dr. Egues was great, she was attentive and it seemed like she had just opened her offices on Irving Park.



Currently, I moved up 50 miles north of Chicago and since my kids are all grown up, I only visit this office for vaccines and school forms. Although for sometime now, I'm not sure why I bother traveling from far to come to this office. As Dr. Egues office has grown and now she has other doctors, making an appointment to visit this doctor's office is more like jumpin thru hoops, and wht not.



But what happened to me today is unacceptable! I've been struggling to get my daughter and appointment at Lurie hospital because her hearing aids aren't working. Since Oct 2013 appointment books have been closed for the hospital.



Fast forward to June 2014, we are almost done with this odyssey! My daughter was schedule to get hearing aids today, but I was told by the hospital that Dr. Egues office denied to sign papers, since my daughter wasn't a patient their!! Seriously, I was totally appalled and couldn't believe what I was hearing! Now my daughter needs to wait even more just to sort this out.



I can't believe that Chicago Pediatric Clinic denied a hearing impaired child- her hearing aids!



I've called the clinic today Friday and unfortunately they are closed, but I left a "nice" message and will call again tomorrow! This matter needs attention immediately, I might be inclined to even call the news too! This totally unbelievable!
