American Martial Arts Systems

This place is amazing it is family orientated. They have a very flexible schedule and are grate about working with you. They do grate to work with kids that need a little extra help. If your kids is struggling in any way mood or behavior it is a grate place to help give them something to look forward to also to maybe help level mood out and have some place to have a release of energy if that is what you are looking for. This place is just all around amazing it has helped my kids become the grate leaders they are today.

This is by far the premier martial arts/self defense school around, I’ve trained here for years with my kids and they love it we’ve all really enjoyed the training, atmosphere and great customer service!

They are very helpful and attentive. For people who don't like contracts they shouldn't sign their child up if they think their child won't stick it out for a year. Asking a business to refund money is ridiculous and even though there are monthly payment plans people should expect to be paying for the whole year. I was warned not to go to this establishment because a friend had said they screwed her out of money because she still had to pay for a whole year. I'm calling bullshit on it because that's what a contract is. The owner is straight forward and he's not a liar as other people stated in the past. Parents who let their kids quit something that they wanted to start are ignorant because parents today should be making sure their child is going to stick with the commitment they made to start an activity.

My nine year old daughter has been attending American Martial Arts Systems for over six months and loves it. She has gained so much confidence in herself through their program. The instructors are wonderful. They are kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. While the facility is a little out dated, this takes away nothing from the instruction at the school. I would highly recommend AMAS to anyone. They even through great birthday parties for anyone looking for a fun venue.

Friendly at the beginning. When discussing the sign up, we specifically stated that we didn't know if our son would like to stick to it on the long term and that we just wanted to give it a try. They answered with a very vague "We'll work with him if he don'ts feel like to continue". Months later my son and I (yes, I hated going there) decided to stop and the answer when we requested to cancel the membership is that it is a year contract. When confronted about our first conversation then they simply denied it saying "I didn't say you could sign out at any point". We are paying a monthly payment for a class my son is not taking because he doesn't enjoy at all (maybe it works for other kids, but not mine). On the positive side, the teachers are nice. On the negative side, the place is very run down and dirty (I dreaded having to take him to class, and thorougly washed his feet afterwards) , and it seems like they use the yearly contract to keep you hooked. To me this sounds very fishy.

Very helpful , and prices were reasonable, customers servise was attentive and fast.
