Facility was very clean. Receptionist was very nice. Dentist showed a lot of compassion, concern, and professionalism. Everyone I had to see took time to answer all of my questions and explained all of my options thoroughly. I was very pleased with my visit and highly recommend Affordable Dentures in Chester, Virginia.

Rushed process. Didn't give me full price for what I wanted. Assuming I couldn't afford it. Office not very clean. Stains on wall from previous patients.

No pain meds for extractions or implants. Never ever answers phones. Broke my jaw, sewd human hair in my stitches not my hair $10,000 I'm amazed Affordable Dentures in Chester are allowed to operate. He was so rough my face it black and blue and no solid food for 6 and 1/2 months!

They was very friendly & very Understanding of my needs. They explain everything professionally to me & I was very satisfied with the overall of the Facility very nice & clean. You could even tell it was dental office like some I been To you couldn’t smell the scent of the things they do there.

So my first visit here started off good, everyone was nice, professional, and made me feel welcome. I have had bad dental problems for quite some time and was missing quite a few teeth and had a few teeth that were cracked and kept getting infected and hurt all the time. To save all my teeth and to replace missing teeth a dentist had quoted me $15,000!! So I came here to look into getting partials for my bottom teeth and a full upper denture. I have severe dentist anxiety, so my guard was already up going to the back and getting in the chair. The dentist who does the extractions at first seemed very rude, but I think it was my personal anxiety getting the best of me. I'm only 35 so the thought of getting dentures at my age really depressed me and put me on guard. The nurse working there Vicky was AWESOME and totally reassured my decision for coming there. I got my quote, and left for the day.



I came back 2 weeks later to have my work done (yesterday). Needless to say I was nervous as all get out! The woman who initially helped me not as friendly as Vicky, but not rude either, this place very busy so they are trying to help as many as 8 people at one time. They did my impressions and told me to come back at 1:45 which is when I get my teeth extracted and my temporary denture. I got there at 1:45 and was taken back at 2, but not seen until 3:30, but they were busy and I had some complicated extractions. They started around 330 and within an hour I had all the teeth extracted that needed to be, my temp dentures put in, and out the door by 4:30. They numbed me up really good so I was in no pain with the extraction process which went pretty smooth. I was upset and crying afterwards because it's pretty depressing having to have most your teeth removed! The nurse was very kind and reassuring and made me feel better. When I got my new teeth put in the dentist who did the extraction even came back to see how they looked which made me feel good. i'm not going to lie the first 18 hours were rough! Lots of bleeding and pain, but it's 2 o'clock on day two and I feel great! Pain not too bad bleeding has subsided, and I am thrilled with my new smile!!! I've gotten a lot of compliments from friends who know what I was having done and knew what my teeth looked like before. This was a really rough decision for me but I'm so glad I did! I did my research before choosing Affordable Dentures in Chester and I'm so glad I chose them they did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them to everyone considering getting extractions, partials, or full dentures, words can't describe what they have done for my self-confidence! Once the soreness is gone I look forward to being able to chew!! Thank you guys!!!! Make sure you come early they always have a line around the door 30 minutes prior to opening, now I see why, they do good work! Instead of paying $15,000 I paid $3,000 which was a package deal that covers my extractions, temp dentures, free re aligns up to 60 days, and my perm dentures once gums are fully healed. Best investment I've ever made!!

I would recommend Dr Hedges and his group to anyone who needs dentures. I have had a partial plate for over five years. All it took was one trip to his office. I was measured in the morning and had my new dentures in the afternoon. I purchased his standard denture which cost less than premiums. I asked what the difference was and was told the the premiums were more natural looking. My dentures are so natural looking that no one, even my children, knows I have them. Although there are no appointments and the waiting room is extremely crowded Doctor Hedges and his staff have a very efficient system to get clients in and out. His prices are just a fraction of what other dentist charge. The only problem I had is that they do not take checks or credit cards. I had to find an ATM.
