Love the atmosphere and the associates. The love and care for our fur babies is well known there just by walking in and the welcome we receive.

If you love your precious four legged animals at all you will not take them here! The girls working there are rude and condescending when answering your questions. They cut my maltishon's hair WAYY too short, to the point where my puppy is very uncomfortable and is constantly itching his skin. Not worth the $53 I paid! I will be taking my business elsewhere!

Will not be going back! Find another salon. I have been a client for about 2 years and never had an issue HOWEVER the new women who started there sounded like she was drunk, cut my poodles hair horrible, longer hair all over the place and my dog was scared for two days after like something happened to him there. Also, as another reviewer noted, there are small kids running around which is a liability to anyone who brings a dog there and the dog gets too friendly. I think the worst thing was when i called the owner, Nicki, to tell her about my dogs haircut and issues, she sounded generally sorry and tried to make it better by telling me she would call me that Tuesday after the shop closed and she would fix his hair and weeks later....still waiting for that call!!!!

Terrible customer service, child running around, cut my dogs hair way to short.

Thought I would try this place out because it is close to my house. I will never go back!

My poodle was scared to death when I came to pick him up. He has never acted this way before and he has been groomed for 3 years. I feel so bad that I didn't take him to his regular groomer. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP

I have a 4 year old rescue shih-tzu. She was found 3 years ago in and abandoned field, as she has been a part of the family ever since. She is extremely skiddish and has severe separation anxiety, so the vet advised me to either learn to groom her myself or to medicate her in order to have her groomed. I tried to groom her myself and failed miserably. I decided to try having her groomed at 4 the Love of Dogs pet spa without the medication and she did great! She doesn't cry when I leave her there and she isnt traumatized when I pick her up. I think she actually likes all of the attention that Nikki and her staff gives her. They always trim her exactly how I ask and they send her home with the cutest bows! Their pricing is unbeatable and I would never even consider taking my dog anywhere else!!

Nikki has been grooming my Peek-A-Poo for about 7 yrs and We have always been pleased. He is just like a family member we would only trust her and her staff with our baby. Highly recommend 4 The Love of Dogs.

We have two small dogs that we have taken here twice and we are 100% satisfied. One of our dogs can be quite skittish and a handful but Nikki and her staff handle the animals with an enormous amount of love and care. Our animals are like our children and we are particular about where we leave them and who we leave them with. I look forward to taking my "fur babies" here for all of our future grooming needs.

I would not recommend this groomer at all. I thought I would give it a try since it is on my way to work and closer to my home than going out to Petsmart off of Midlothian Turnpike. I have a Siberian Husky and she has never had any problems being groomed in the past, she has been getting groomed since she was 3 months old. When I dropped her off I told them more than once that she does not like the dryer at all and that it is best if one is not used on her, but they called anyways to tell me that she does not like it (meaning they tried it and surprise she did not like it). I also asked for them to clip around her private areas and they ended up shaving it. I brought this up and was told that all they could do was to say sorry. She had bad red bumps from it and in certain spots it started to bleed. They were supposed to clip two small mats from behind her ears and they forgot. I also recieved a phone call saying they are unable to brush her because she was trying to jump off the table. Like I said earlier, she has never had any of these problems in the past. When she was picked up she was terrified and hid on the floor board of the car when the window was opened and stayed there until she got home. At home she did not want to play or eat, she just laid under the couch and did not want to come out. The next day I took her up to Petsmart and they were able to groom her properly and gave her an oatmeal bath to help soothe all of her iratated skin, and after that she was her normal happy, excited self. I will never bring her back to 4 the Love of Dogs and I will stick with taking her to Petsmart, where I know she will be taken care of.
