Best place to eat crabs!!!!! Service is outstanding👍👍

This was a Godsend of a place! We loved it. The food was the best. The service was over the top. I had just left another restaurant after 2 minutes of bad service... then I ended up here... where everything was wonderful! This place is on everyone's list because wherever I went people would suggest to go here. So glad we did!

On Sunday, 13 jan, I drove into Chesapeake Beach, arriving tired and hungry. It was a very foggy drizzly 2 hours and all I wanted was a drink and some crabs/seafood! Thought this place would be great and when I walked in there was no one greeting and there are gambling machines everywhere. I looked around because the sign said "hostess will seat you" .... Several female employees came through with rags in their hands and no one said anything. So, I walked further into where people were seated facing a big screen. Awesome, the game was on! The people looked at me, and the employees walked around me and still, they didn't say anything. So, I went to the restroom and came back through the other customers eating and I waited, looked around, waited and still No One said anything!! I left. I dont care how good the food is here. I wouldnt recommend the service. I went to another place and had great food and service and watched the game! I wouldnt give this place a star, but the review wont let me send without it.

The crab here is hella good, it’s worth the price I pay honestly. The staff is really nice and is always very attentive to our table. I have always had a great time and great food!

Set outdoors on the side terrace with a nice view of the canal. People friendly service good. Crabs were outstanding and price was very reasonable.

We visit Abner's every year on vacation with our 3 children. The crabs are "the best". The atmosphere is very family friendly. The kids love feeding the ducks on the docks, with the stale bread and/or crackers provided by the waitress staff who are very helpful, even right down to teaching you how to pick a crab!
