        Guardian Wealth Management, Inc. (GWMI, Guardian Wealth) is a fee only Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) specializing in comprehensive wealth management designed to encourage values-based living. GWMI was established in 1997 by Don (CPA/PFS) and Kathy VanLandingham in answer to her vision for Don to focus his passion for the comprehensive financial planning he was providing within his CPA practice of 25 years. Initially, GWMI functioned much as a department within the CPA firm, but in 1998 the decision was made to move the advisory firm to a separate location. In late 1999, the couple sold VanLandingham CPAs in order to concentrate on their vision for the advisory firm. Tax planning remains a central component of Guardian Wealth Management’s operating model. Don's and Kathy’s driving goal was to build a firm that provided a select number of clients with an array of wealth management services not readily available at most investment management firms.

        From the first day Don and Kathy committed their dream to paper, they had two goals in mind: cultivate a values-based work environment with a team that shared their passion for improving the lives of their clients, and to create a cutting-edge infrastructure with developed processes that enhanced the firm’s ability to provide its services to their client family delivered with a personal touch.
