Dillard's

I recently returned several items to the store. I had shopped several days before and got home without part of the items I purchased. As soon as I discovered I was missing part of my purchase, I called the store. The lady I spoke with was very nice and indicated she would have someone from the department call me after they made a search. I never received the call. I went to the store to return the four items I had and to let them know what had happened. In all my years of shopping I have never been treated in the manner in which I was. The store manager as much as called me a thief. There was never any doubt in his mind that his staff might not have given me the items. I don't think it even entered his mind that I might in fact be telling the truth. In the end, I gave up and asked him to just give me a credit for the four items I brought back. He did that, but just couldn't resist taking one last shot at me. He told me, I would probably find the two items at home. I told him I wouldn't and I would not be shopping at Dillard's ever again. I'm sure that didn't bother him since he considered me a thief. To add insult to injury, I didn't catch that he didn't give me back the $19.00 balance on a gift card that I had used on the purchase. In the end, I was out $137.17. Not all of us are thiefs. Some of us are just hard working people who are telling the truth.

In response to other review, Dillard's constantly has sales and you can find great deals. I bought a gorgeous dress for my daughter for under $20 on sale. The clothes are high quality. Dillard's has more than clothes to offer. Their shoe department is exceptional. Anyone that knows the Dillard's name, knows it is a quality store with quality products.
