Asian Food & Gifts of Chattanooga

This store has been expanding for a year now. They have added freezer sections and more refrigerators. The owners are very helpful and pleasant. If they don't have a product on the shelf, they are willing to special order it. I have shopped there weekly for almost three years now. It is wonderful to have this little oasis of Asian foods.

I was so happy when I found Asian Food & Gifts! For a demonstration speech, I wanted to show my class how to make mochi and daifuku. I happened upon this little store and called to ensure they had mochiko rice flour in stock. I was assured they did and was even told the price. When I finally visited their store, I fell in love. The service was absolutely amazing!! When I went to check out the mochiko rice flour, and few other goodies, lol, the owner informed me that Japanese people actually prefer another type of rice flour and then he went and got it for me. Then, while he was scanning the items, he asked me if I was the one who called about the rice flour! I mean, how sweet was it that he remember me?! =0D What made him even cuter was how he got excited to show me the other part of his store where they actually had daifuku and other awesomeness. Overall, my experience at the Asian Food & Gifts store was very pleasant, and I look forward to my next visit. =0)
