Reyes Rv Rentals

First and foremost - EVERY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK ON YELP OR ANY OTHER SITE WITH RESPECT TO REYES RV IS SPOT ON AND IN LINE WITH OUR EXPERIENCE. Our experience with this company was horrendous - from beginning to end. Customer service is not at all a priority or a concern for these people.



We made arrangements with Kim weeks ahead to collect the RV earlier than their contractual pick up time. The day prior to the booked pick up time, we received an email telling us to collect 'in line with the contract'. When we called, the attitude was "Be greatfull that you can pick up the RV tomorrow" and "We don't recall making a different arrangement". This should have been our warning to stay away, but we had already paid a significant deposit so couldn't walk away. When we arrived to pick up the RV, the RV that we booked had been involved in an accident so they had no RV ready for us. By the time we eventually left their office, it was 5pm!!! The RV was disgustingly dirty - I found toe nail clippings in the carpet! The dirt was literally dripping from the air vents. We were so disappointed. The cleaning and camping kit that we had booked were not in the RV so we had to waste our holiday time shopping for items to stock the RV. There was no kettle or microwave dishes...?...unbelievable!



Luxury....that's laughable! The RV looked great in the pictures, but the reality is, the RV is so used with lack of proper maintenance and cleaning, that the RV itself is comparable to a 2* experience.....and that's being kind!



On our first evening, the double door fridge completely de-hinged and fell out....within a few feet of my 5 year old. We then had to spend the next day fixing the issue and had to wait a full day for Reyes to send someone to repair it. And Kim's attitude was we were seriously putting her out! When the repair man arrived, he firstly suggested that he would return the following morning! And when I said that we were not sitting around for another day, he asked if his girlfriend could sit in the RV while he did his work! And then asked us where he should stay the night???? Knowing full well that we were first time visitors to the US. Absolutely laughable! This experience tainted our holiday. Other RV holiday makers were astounded by our experience and the condition of the RV.



On returning the RV and the only good element of Reyes, they semi acknowledged the absolute nightmare and refunded part of rental....but not nearly enough to compensate for the stress and disappointment. I do not recommend hiring from this Company.
