        Our mission at Charlottesville Family Chiropractic is to get you out of pain and on with your life as quickly as possible.

        Dr. McGaughran graduated from the College of William and Mary in 2000 with a B.S. in kinesiology. In 2005 he graduated as his Class Salutatorian and as a Cum Laude graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. Doctor McGaughran has a strong background in sports medicine and rehabilitation. He applies the philosophy of sports medicine to the treatment of all of his patients; fast and efficient recovery, functional stabilization, and empowering patients with the tools to prevent re-injury in the future. In his spare time Dr. McGaughran enjoys spending time with his family, giving lectures and being involved in civic organizations in the community.

        Headache relief

        I suffered from severe headaches until Dr. McGaughran started treating me. My headaches have decreased in frequency and severity. Dr. McGaughran really listens to me and helps me feel better.

        Highly Recommend

        I highly recommend Dr. McGaughran. He has helped me through chronic pain and alleviated pain I'd come to think I would always have to live with. He really listens and provides outstanding care to his patients. His staff is friendly and welcoming. As someone who has been to various chiropractors and physical therapists over the years, I can honestly say that Dr. McGaughran was the only one to provide significant pain relief and increased mobility through his treatment. He is an excellent chiropractor who truly cares about his patients.
