WEND-FM is one of the more than 1,200 locally owned and programmed radio stations operated by Clear Channel Radio, a division of Clear Channel Communications. Tuned to 106.5 on the FM dial in Charlotte, N.C., WEND-FM features new rock music and local personalities Kristen and Jack Daniel on its featured two-hour program that airs on the drive home, The Lounge , which was voted the No. 1 radio program in Charlotte by Charlotte s Best Magazine.
