Laser Eye Surgery
LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is a type of refractive surgery used to treat nearsightedness, astigmatism and farsightedness by reshaping the corneaâ€™s curvature. If you have one of these three conditions, you have blurry vision because when light enters your eye through your cornea, it fails to focus clearly on the back of the eye (retina). LASIK restores good eyesight by focusing light clearly on the retina.
Cataracts
A cataract is nothing more than the natural lens inside the eye. Normally the natural lens is clear, but if it becomes cloudy, it is called a cataract. The word, which is derived from both Greek and Latin, describes the white appearance of a waterfall. Why? Because a very advanced cataract can give the eye a white appearance through the pupil which is usually black. In fact, there are several whitewater rapids in the Nile River called the "cataracts of the Nile", and a challenging portion of the Colorado River referred to as "Cataract Canyon". A cataract usually causes significant vision changes way before the pupil turns white. Therefore, it is uncommon nowadays for people in the U.S. to wait until they progress to such an advanced stage of clouding and vision loss before having corrective surgery.
Cataract Surgery
A cataract forms in the eye when the normal human clear lens becomes cloudy. The procedure for CLE is the same as cataract surgery, one of the most commonly performed surgeries in the U.S. The difference is that the lens being replaced is clear as opposed to a cloudy cataract lens, though this procedure may also be done on patients who are in the beginning stages of a cataract prior to meeting insurance requirements for cataract surgery.

He attended undergraduate school at Florida State University followed by medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. Brow Lift
