Marsh Properties - Sedgefield

I have lived here for 5 years. Great location and great prices for what you get. Don't expect luxury but what you DO get is a duplex with charm and an actual yard. Contrary to the bitter pill above, the staff are VERY helpful. There are two sides to each story and we heard ONE. I pay $695 for a 2 bed duplex 3 blocks from the light rail and across from "luxury" apts starting around $1000 a month for a studio. I'll take my old home and save my money.

Great people in the office. Anytime something has needed repair, they are always friendly, & the work is done quickly. The apts. are old, therefore, no dishwasher, disposal, small oven/stove and limited elec. outlets. However, it meets my needs and the location is great for my work. I just hope they don't try to capitalize on the "Southend" trend, and try to escalate the rent much further. Management is quick to notify tenants when we have a surge in break-ins, be it apts. or vehicles. Again, they are fine, as long as Marsh doesn't try to price them as if they are Colonial Reserve or The Silo's. They are quite bare bones with no amenities. But again, I will say the office staff has always been welcoming, friendly & helpful to me.

I had to live here purely for location (close to my boyfriend's graduate program). It looks nice on the inside but it is all fake. The staff is not helpful, they went out of their way to make my life a living hell when I tried to move. I was told that breaking a lease would be easy as long as I gave them ample time. I gave them over 2 months notice, and they didn't do a damn thing! They wanted me to pay 4 months rent to break it!! Thankfully I got them down to 2 months rent (that's still 1600!!!) and on TOP of that-didn't give my security deposit back AND sent be a $200 for erroneous cleaning charges when I left the place clean. They are known for not giving back security deposits but then charging me ON TOP OF THE $1900 they already swindled out me!!!!!!!!!!!!!??? RUN FOR YOUR LIFE BEFORE YOU MOVE HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT 100%!
