New Construction
Edifice has a diverse portfolio (K-12, higher education, municipal, industrial, faith-based, medical office, senior living, office, corporate interiors, entertainment) of projects ranging from complex multi-faceted structures to interior renovations. Demolition
Project includes the interior and exterior modifications to the existing administrative building entry at the Historic Iredell County Courthouse.Â More specifically, interior renovations include the expansion of the upper lobby, renovating the existing boardroom and creating a separate reception area.Â Exterior renovations include the installation of a new entrance stair, ramp, courtyard with an overhead canopy.Â The secondary entrance renovations include new stairs with an overhead canopy.Â In addition to the building renovations, site work includes demolition of an existing building foundation, installation of concrete retaining walls and the expansion/creation of new asphalt parking lot.

The athletic complex includes a new football stadium, several athletic buildings, tennis courts, baseball, and softball fields, soccer fields, and a band practice area.Â The football stadium is a synthetic turf system with drainage and a water cannon for summer cooling.Â All the natural turf systems include irrigation systems for year-round maintenance.

Gutters
The renovation scope requires detailed preservation of existing brick exterior walls, historic slate roofing, copper gutters, and cornice work and preservation and repair of existing plaster interior walls.Â Where required, we will be tactically installing temporary bracing to allow for proper repair to the existing historic perimeter walls.Â Repairs will consist of brick repair, re-pointing, tuckpointing and installation of new brick to match existing for new openings. Â All work will take place on the active Navy Yard campus.
