Joe Walker, owner of Walker's Fine Flowers, transformed a Putnam County barn into an elegant country farm venue for our July evening wedding reception. He used Queen Anne's lace, Canterbury bells, antique roses, hydrangea and other country garden flowers to create an elegant-but-not-stuffy look. Beribboned floral pieces and monogram medallions on gateposts led guests up the lane to the barn. He designed a 6' wreath of grapevine, willow, mosses and the same floral selection to adorn the front of the barn. The doorway was decorated with an arch of willow branches with tiny white lanterns. On the ceiling of our reception area, Joe hung an impressive display of champagne paper lanterns in various sizes, which held romantic flickering lights. We appreciated his creativity and attention to detail in carrying out our wishes, which in spite of our previous knowledge of his talent managed to exceed our expectations in new ways.

My daughter married in the WV Rotunda in July and after speaking with several florist who told us what we didn't want or need Joe Walker came to the rescue. He listened, drew sketches and was dead on my daughters dream. The day of the wedding was breathtakingly beautiful.
