Kristi is a new 2020 COTA graduate from Trident Technical College. During her schooling, She enjoyed acute care and hand therapy but learned that pediatrics is definitely her passion. She completed her 2nd rotation at CPR and is happy to be joining the company as an employee. Kristi is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but grew up in Ft. Meyers, Florida and moved to Charleston in 2017. Kristi is married with two children- Lyndi and JJ. She also has the cutest Boston Terrier named Hank. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling around in her RV with her family, game nights with friends, and just being outside or on the water.

Autism
Every child with autism is different and that is what makes individualized programing so important. At CPR we look at each child as an individual and require parents and caregivers participation in our sessions and in parent training. ABA sessions are most successful when we partner with the parents/caregivers, the true experts on your child!. To individualize each program we will look at the age of your child and the skills they currently have as well as the behaviors they currently display. We will work with you to determine the intensity of the therapy, including the number of hours per week, the setting of the therapy and the best time to have therapy.

Physical Therapists

Sports Medicine
Kristine is a licensed Physical Therapist in South Carolina. She graduated from The Citadel in Charleston, SC with a Bachelor of Science in Health Exercise and Sport Science. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She has been employed at CPR since 2013. Kristine has experience performing examinations and providing treatment and home exercise programs to enable patients to improve mobility or function including range of motion, strength, balance, and also decreasing pain. Her interests include orthopedic/sports medicine, developmental gross motor skills, and torticollis treatment. She enjoys playing soccer, rugby, and spending time with family and friends.
Physical Therapy
Kristin is a licensed Physical Therapist in South Carolina. She received both her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. Kristin is originally from New York where she spent 2 years working in a pediatric clinic with pre-school aged children and Early Intervention. Kristin enjoys exploring Charleston, running on the beach and spending time with family and friends.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy identifies the expectations (life roles, occupations) of each child and creates a unique treatment plan that considers family, school, and community environments.
Aquatic Therapy
Aquatic therapy is treatment performed in the water by qualified occupational, physical, and speech therapists. Specific elements of the water and clinically based techniques create an optimal environment for children to enhance their development in areas such as: motor planning, sensory processing, self-regulation, coordination, core strength,attention span, endurance, and range of motion.Sea Stars is Charleston Pediatric Rehabilitation's aquatic therapy program that was developed specifically for children who are challenged by neurological and physical deficits. This program provides a motivational approach for children to reach their highest level of independence while having fun! We believe that building children's self-esteem and self-confidence is the foundation to learning new skills.
