I had good experience with Ausherman Brothers Appraisal. They were prompt, thorough, and very professional in the time spent at my home as well as being very quick in the turn around time. I was very pleased with everything done for my appraisal
Have been in the real estate development business since 1984 with over 100 appraisals. Always dealt with professionals until the receipt of an appraisal done by Dan Mulewich from the Ausherman office. Appraisal was pathetic. Comps were pathetic and demonstrated an attitude of laziness I had never experienced in any other appraisal prior to this. When I questioned Mr. Mulewich I TOO was told there were no comps in the area ( 3 bedroom farmhouse on 3 acres)! One quick call to the county tax assessment office and a quick check of recent sales in Shippensburg provided me 6 full price comp sales in 45 minutes. Too Late to re-submit. This company cost me $45,000. Don't let this happen to you.
We had our house appraised 3 years ago by a bank. The appraiser
from this company gave a very low appraisal, much lower than the
one 3 years ago. At all cost, avoid this company and anyone who
recommends them to you.
