Cerritos Sheriff's Station is a more than 28,000-square-foot facility built within the Civic Center of the City of Cerritos. It provides law enforcement services to a population of over 51,000. The station is staffed with nearly 55 sworn and more than 20 civilian employees. Cerritos Sheriff's Station includes an over 15 bed jail, dispatch area, community meeting room and offices for administrative and detective personnel. It offers traffic management, fingerprinting, vacation security check and overnight parking services. The station houses and partners with the Community Safety Center to address community issues. It is operated by the Sheriff's Department, which has been serving the city of Cerritos, Calif. for nearly 45 years.
